Powerful jigsaw Rated 4 by Anonymous
The 2645-20 jigsaw does what its supposed to do,.. cut material! Yes, the saw is rather on the large side, however the tool is solid, well built, the adjustable shoe locks into place with no play,& run time is great thanks to M18XC battery pack. This was included with the 2696-15 tool kit I purchased. However, I needed to remove the blade cover,& anti-splintering insert for a better view of the pencil line while cutting material.(always use your safety glasses!!)LED light would of been nice feature. Very pleased with saw,& other tools that were part of kit. By the way,.. I don't consider a flashlight a tool, just a sight aid.

unfortunately had to return! Rated 4 by Anonymous
This is a great jig saw, but I had to return it because I need a led light to cut dark woods when installing cabinets. I will buy again when they put in a LED light like most of their cordless tools. I have the 18v drills and 12v drills and love them. My idea was to have all Milwaukee tools, but I need to see what I'm doing. I did however give it 4 stars for ruggedness, ease of use, scratch guard, and look. Hopefully the boss will read this and make this tool perfect!

Good basic saw Rated 3 by Anonymous
The blade change mechanism is no match for Bosch or Festool. Sometimes the mechanism fails to grab the blade correctly; it takes some getting used to the right fell. The visibility is not as good as it should be--it's kind of a big mistake. An LED would help but light is not the only problem. The orbital action setting lever is the reverse of Bosch. It's heavy, but if you own a M18 drill and batteries, this jig saw is cheap.

Solid power cutting Rated 3 by Anonymous
While indeed heavier, it aids with any bouncing and feels solid when cutting. However, I will agree with other reviewers about the lack of LED light that appears on other models like the drill and impact drivers. Also, had to check the internet to see that others have had the same issue with aligning the T-shank blades. Seems when I finally get it straight, a test trigger push mis-aligns it.
