  Yes, I recommend this product.
I purchased and installed the second of two curved shower rods today. I noted the pin (Philips head screw) that connects the plastic mounting bracket to the rod actually can slide from the bracket during installation. I thought that the screw could have an actual head in order to manage the location of the screw that connects the mounting bracket to the rod. Also, except for costs, why do manufactures of household products use low quality hardware? Most of the screws, bolts and related hardware are not ASTM/ANSI material and many times need to be replaced because they screws break and/Philips heads are too soft to use as one would think.

Nice once installed Rated 5 by Anonymous
  Yes, I recommend this product.
Installed this today by myself. Could not find the directions anywhere in the box, so attempted to just install. How hard could it be? lol turns out next to impossible. You really need the directions (which are printed on the back of the box). This is not an intuitive thing to put up as one might think. You have to pop off the end caps which almost feels like you are going to break them. I only figured this out because on the directions its shows them off, but doesn't tell you how to get them off. Once you get past that installation isn't too bad, I imagine it would have been easier 1. if I had another person helping or 2. if I were taller. It is a beautiful curtain rod and cant beat it for the price. I would definitely recommend.

no installation instructions, why not??? Rated 4 by Anonymous
  Yes, I recommend this product.
Why doesn't a large company like Moen not give clear, and simple to follow installation instructions? How much money are you possibly saving? I recently remodeled our hall bath and loved the curved tension brushed nickel shower curtain rod since no drilling would be necessary into my brand new tile but this product was the hardest to install!!! They did print some very and I mean very basic instructions on the back of the box but they were meaningless when you were actually installing this product. I hope it lasts a long, long time!!!

tricky installation Rated 4 by Anonymous
  Yes, I recommend this product.
The rod is nice looking once you get it installed. You must ensure the black piece that holds against the wall has the flat sides up and down or the end cap won't attach properly. That took me a while to figure out and was quite frustrating. Somehow I lost the plastic ring that goes between the two rods and provides a smooth path for the curtain rings to travel across the seam. A call to Moen was all it took for a free replacement.
