It utilizes a ceramic disk volume control cartridge (1213) with a variable volume control handle to help you enjoy a relaxing shower experience that you deserve. You can lift its lever handle from 0 to 25-degrees arc for volume control. Also, the escutcheon has a temperature indicator as to your guide for the water temperature that you need. 

This valve trim has an adjustable temperature limit stop that helps control the maximum hot water temperature to avoid getting burned or getting cold while showering. For full cold to full hot water temperature operation, you can rotate the handle up to 110-degrees arc. In addition, the handle is ADA-certified which makes a showering experience safer for children and older people.

The M-CORE 4 cartridge type of this valve trim has a pressure balancing mechanism that controls temperature fluctuations that usually happens in the home. Yes, you're reading it right!
