About the Morton Commercial NACL White Salt Pellets 50lb 49 Bags/Pallet

The Morton Commercial NACL salt pellets are specially made for recharging water softeners. The pellets contain a minimum of 99.4% sodium chloride with traces of calcium sulfate, calcium chloride, magnesium sulfate and magnesium chloride with no additives. It is 49 bags or pallet and 50lb. These Morton Commercial NACL white salt pellets are also used for other ion-exchanged water treatment processes where the sodium chloride is used for resin regeneration. Most of the impurities are easily dissolved won’t adversely affect the water softening process. These Morton Commercial NACL salt pellets have the standard dimensions of 1” long, 5/8” wide and 3/8” thick except for those manufactured in Glendale, AZ that are 1-1/4” long, ¾” wide and ½” thick. The pellets are compressed sufficiently to prevent mushing that disintegrates the pellets too rapidly, are chemically stable and prevents bacterial growth.
