Questions & Answers

Thank you for your interest in the Pfister 941-735J Dome Cap. According to Pfister, it actually depends on the type of faucet you will use it for. It can be screwed on and off or pried off. Most of the time, it is screwed into the faucets. But it would be helpful if we knew the model number of the faucet you will use it with so we will know the right usage for this part. We would love to help you more. We hope this somehow helps. If you're ready with your reply, feel free to reply on this page. Thanks for visiting!

Mine is on a 42 Series Parisa Centerset Lavatory Faucet. I can not get it off for the life of me! I think years of a slow leak with hard water has stuck it on there! I am going to attempt removal on another faucet in the house for comparison - I found a manual online that indicates it should unscrew but I have had no luck so far.

We appreciate your reply about the type of faucet that has an issue. Yes, you're right. The proper use of this Pfister 941-735J dome cap for your 42 Series Parisa centerset lavatory faucet is to screw it on and off. It should be screwed on in a clockwise direction and unscrewed in a counterclockwise direction. About the slow leak that you mentioned, you might need to tighten the retainer that holds the cartridge in place. If the problem still continues, you may need to contact Pfister's technical support at 1-800-732-8238 so they can help you more in fixing the problem and they can also discuss the warranty information. We hope this helps you find the solution. Thanks for visiting!
