Reed's EDS17 is an Extended Wrench Socket. It has a 1-1/16" hex capacity. It weighs. 68 lbs. This socket is designed for hard-to-reach deep well bolts, and is constructed of tool steel and are impact grade. It's specifically used to tighten hex nuts on repair clamps, mechanical joint fittings, and saddles. You can drive it with a 1/2" square drive impact wrench or tighten it by hand, and the finish on the sockets provides corrosion-resistance. This socket has a zinc phosphate finish.
