Reed's SAWITSD is a Saw It Pneumatic Saw. It has a 24 In. capacity. It weighs 17 lbs. This saw features improvements that allow it to turn and work more freely, along with starting easier and running smoother. It offers you blades to cut plastic, steel, stainless steel, and C900 PVC pipe. This tool must have a means to hold it in place and the recommended Saw It Vise (sold separately) fits 4 - 12" diameter pipe (up to 24" with chain extensions), and provides stability and safety for the cut. It operates at 300 strokes/minute, and is less likely to ignite materials than gas-powered saws and even some electrical-powered saws. However, the Saw It is not recommended for gas lines. Always use a filter-regulator-lubricator (FRL) with this tool. Reed offers FRL #97591 for user convenience. This model features an immediate shut down when you let go of the throttle, and an immediate start up when you squeeze the throttle. On this model only, there is a trigger lock that prevents accidental on and off if the trigger is bumped or pressed unintentionally.
