This 48"x36" Shoemaker 3000-OBD is designed to fit and cover a 48" wide by 36" high opening. This Shoemaker Opposed Blade Air Control Damper 3000-OBD Series has a 16-gauge galvanized channel frame. It features opposed blade operation for accurate air flow control. The blades are of galvanized material and are vee-stiffened for added strength and stability. Additionally, the blades pivot on high temperature nylon bushings. This damper has ½” square zinc-plated steel pivot pins and a ½” square zinc-plated steel adjustable operating shaft that extends up to 4” beyond the air control frame. This opposed blade air control damper comes with a mill finish. Its blades, which run parallel to the first dimension given, must be operated on a horizontal plane. This damper is available from a minimal size of 8"x8" to a maximum size of 48"x48". Please measure the opening size instead of measuring the face plate of your old damper. Please note that this damper is designed to fit over a 48"x36" existing hole or duct. Please refer to the Specification Sheet for more information about this product.
