This Toro PSS-KIT Precision Soil Sensor Kit comes with the sensor and a receiver and is universal enough to work with any irrigation controller. This model helps prevent overwatering by continuously measuring the soil moisture levels and determining when to water. This sensor probe is fully wireless and has up to a 500' range with a line of sight. It automatically detects your soil type and calibrates itself to adjust all calculations accordingly. This sensor kit also gives you freeze detection that prevents irrigation from continuing when temperatures approach freezing, saving your lawn and your pipes.
