The "P" designation in the part number signifies a 1/2" female pipe thread and a 3/4" male pipe thread inlet combination on the end of both inlet tubes. This freezeless faucet from Woodford has a patented resetting pressure relief valve that stops the faucet casing tube from bursting in cold conditions regardless of outside temperature and even if a hose is inadvertently left attached.
