The Air King E80S is a single-speed exhaust fan featuring the Energy Star certification. This certification assures that the exhaust fan uses less energy and prevents greenhouse gas emissions that meet strict energy efficiency guidelines. Additionally, this exhaust fan incorporates a humidistat sensor, sensing the room's humidity level. This sensor permits the fan to automatically turn on when the humidity level is below the preset percentage with up to 80 percent relative humidity.
The E80S has a 6" round duct connector that integrates a gasket damper, protecting against backdrafts and sealing the duct. Moreover, this exhaust fan features a California Title 24 and CALGreen compliant option when used with the Air King DH55 humidistat control switch. This switch allows control to access and adjust humidity from 20 percent to 80 percent humidity. On top of that, you can install it easily with adjustable hanging brackets included in the unit.
