It has pre-adjustable linkage and adjustable self-retaining rubber head gasket which are both patented. These drains have heavy-duty cast red brass head, tee, and shoe durable enough to last for years to come.

The Gerber 41-901-87 has a heavy-duty, highly polished faceplate and chrome-plated stamped brass domed strainer., a remead tee, horizontal outlet These drains have a 1-1/2" brass tubing that is 20-gauge thick with a chrome finish brass nuts. Its extra-long plunger stroke allows better declogging performance than the ordinary plungers. To avoid damages upon delivery, the drain parts are partially assembled in a carton in a compartmentalized packaging.
