In mounting this unit, you will need to drive a #10 wood screw into a wall stud and leave about ¼” of the screw exposed. When you’re installing it on a drywall or masonry, you must use screw anchors. Next, hang the controller on the screw using the provided keyhole slot. Then secure the controller by driving screws through the lower mounting holes provided and you’re all set! Hope this helps! If this is the information that you need, this product includes a 24 VAC terminal for connection to a wall outlet using a transformer (included with indoor models). A 9-volt battery is required to program this device before installation and to keep its control module synchronized during power outages (lasting up to 24 hours only). Please take note that sprinkler valves cannot be operated by a 9-volt battery only. They need to be connected to a main AC power source to make them operate.
