The Orbit 58197N is a step spike base that works both as a replacement or an extension. When planning to widen the watering area, this spike base allows sprinkler heads to be attached to the top of it. For both reliable performance and durability, this spike base is made of zinc. Please note that the sprinkler head should have a 1/2" male threaded pipe connection for faster installation.
