About the Irritrol SR-1The Irritrol SR-1 is a pump starter relay from Irritrol, integrated to control switching for pumps or other devices from the controller. This pump starter relay allows remote switching for low voltage control and high voltage main-power contacts. This remote switch opens and closes main-power contacts for pumps with 1HP at 120V AC, not exceeding the maximum 2HP at 120V ac amp rating. Additionally, this starter relay draws less holding power than most 0.1 amp solenoid valves, making it highly efficient. Furthermore, this starter relay has an Irritrol PC control system compatibility which allows switching control of low voltage landscape lighting that saves expenses for an extra timer.
