This weather sensor has been discontinued and replaced with the Irritrol CL-W1. 

The Toro EVO-WS is the Evolution wireless weather sensor, an add-on option designed exclusively for the Toro Evolution Series Controller (indoor or outdoor model) to continuously monitor and adjust automatic watering to match the needs of your yard and garden. The sensor detects current levels of sunlight, temperature, and rainfall and then transmits data wirelessly to the Smart Connect receiver (sold separately), plugging into the Toro Evolution Series Controller. This controller adjusts operating times to meet the optimal humidity requirements for the next watering day.
