1. Turn off the main water supply.
2. Remove the top of your valve. If the valve is too tight, try using a pair of channel-lock pliers. Be careful when removing the top of the valve to not lose the components that are inside. Usually, you'll find a spring that you want to set aside.
3. Remove the old diaphragm and put the new diaphragm in place.
4. Put the spring back in and line up the lid of the diaphragm over the center of the spring.
5. Set it back down and tighten it back up.
