There are 3 ways to activate this Irritrol 2507TF Electric Sprinkler Valve. If connected correctly, you can use your sprinkler timer to operate individual stations/zones by choosing the "Manual" option on your sprinkler clock. Another way to turn it off and on is by twisting the lever at the base of the solenoid clockwise to turn off and counter clockwise to turn on. If for some reason this does not turn off the valve as you desire there may be debris of some kind keeping the diaphragm inside the valve from closing. If this is the case, the bleed screw can be opened to "flush" the debris out. this also turns the valve on. I hope this helps. Thank you for visiting PlumbersStock.com!
